Do you have disability coverage in place?

​Individual disability coverage?
If you have an individual plan in place, this group LTD coverage would not offset your plan.  We suggest not replacing your individual disability coverage policy (non-cancellable) with this new policy.  Instead, you might consider modifying your existing plan and using the savings to purchase the FPA plan as a supplement. ​​
Employer group disability coverage or through another association?
Generally speaking, disability benefits received from other group LTD plans will reduce the benefits you receive from the FPA plan. In some cases, it might make sense to keep both group coverages in place. ​If you have other group LTD coverage that you intend to keep along with the FPA LTD plan, please contact us so we can help you determine how this group coverage may or may not offset benefits.
